For three generations, Giò Food has brought to the world the quality of Piedmontese milk and the culture of Italian cream, combining experience, expertise, family values, and a transparent supply chain.
Quality is a process, not a label: no additives, no stabilizers - only experience and control at every stage of production, to enhance authentic flavor and achieve the ideal performance in every preparation.
Behind every supply, there’s a relationship. We are partners to our distributors, present in the field, with a human and consistent approach. Listening and collaboration are integral parts of our work.
We bring to the world a product that represents the real Italy, genuine, skilled, and proud of its artisanal expertise, the result of decades of experience and knowledge passed down from father to son.
We believe in long-term partnerships.
We guarantee territorial exclusivity and technical support to build shared and lasting growth strategies together.
From grandparents to grandchildren: an adventure that has continued for three generations of the Alberti family.
The story of Giò Food originates from three generations of the Alberti family.
From the work of the grandparents to the experience of Marco Alberti, who, after more than 45 years in the dairy sector, founded the company in 2013.
From milk and butter production to specialization in cream, his vision was clear: to create a niche brand - technical yet authentic - dedicated to the professional market.
Giò Food is also a story of connections.
Among the key figures, Gianluca from Cedis - founding partner and expert in the Piedmontese market - helped build a solid network of suppliers and distributors. And also Marco’s children, Giorgia and Mattia, who work alongside their father to carry forward the company’s name and legacy.
Today, Marco Alberti Srl continues to grow in Italy and abroad, bringing to the world products that are not just cream and milk, but the symbol of a way of working with quality, expertise, and heart.
Cav. Marco Alberti
Marco took his first steps at Latte Alberti in Imperia in 1982, following in his family’s footsteps in the dairy world. After years of experience in sales, marketing, and business management, in 2009 he was awarded the title of Knight of the Italian Republic for his professional and social commitment. In 2014, together with his wife Angelica and their children, he founded Marco Alberti Srl and the Panna Giò brand, with the goal of bringing authentic Italian excellence abroad. Today, that project has evolved into Giò Food, continuing the same vision and passion that have guided Marco since 1982.
Gianluca Gerbaldo
Gianluca entered the food distribution world in 1995 with the newly established Cedis Srl, handling administration and accounting. In 2002, he officially joined the company and, as CEO, led the group’s expansion toward high-level collaborations in the cheese and cured meat sectors. Since 2014, he has supported the Panna Giò project — now Giò Food — sharing its values and vision: quality, innovation, and a passion for Italian excellence.
